It's funny how all things alcohol pop out at me now like a Chambord advertisement on the back of a bus, or an article in Metro Philly on the top spirits gifts of the season including Medea Vodka & Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia. It's no different than my latest addiction, HBO's new hit show Boardwalk Empire. The show is set in 1920s Atlantic City, at the dawn of Prohibition, when the sale of alcohol became illegal throughout America. Enoch "Nucky" Thompson (Steve Buscemi) is part gangster, part politician and the person to see when it comes to the illegal sale of alcohol. Into just one season now and I am hooked. Aside from the illegal aspects of Nucky's career, I admire his hustle and we definitely have much in common. *Wink*
