The Pumpkin Patch

Nothing stands out during the Thanksgiving holiday quite like the smell of a fresh baked pumpkin pie. The aroma, the warmth, the spices, and the taste are what makes this treat one of my favorite to indulge in during this time of year.

Needless to say, I'm also happy to incorporate my favorite holiday dessert into an equally tasty and indulgent cocktail. The Yummy Pumpkin Pie Martini! Hiram Walker Pumpkin Spice Liqueur is a zesty, flavorful ingredient for the cocktail, and it's sure to please the taste buds just like mom's good ol' fashioned pumpkin pie (with whipped cream, of course!). Follow the recipe to the letter, break out the martini glasses, top with whipped cream (optional), and enjoy!

Yummy Pumpkin Pie Martini
o                 1 part Hiram Walker Pumpkin Spice
o                 ½ part Kahlùa Coffee Liqueur
o                 ½ part Hiram Walker® Butterscotch Schnapps
o                 ½ part Half & Half
Combine ingredients in shaker w/ ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into martini glass. Garnish and serve.

National Whipped Cream Day!

It's National Whipped Cream Day! Alcohol-infused whipped cream? Don't mind if I do! Whipped Lightning was the first to do it, and do it well with some of the most decadent flavors. German Chocolate, Caramel Pecan, Hazelnut Espresso, Amaretto, the list goes on and on of alcohol-infused whipped creams that are sure to spruce up any cocktail or dessert you can put together.

There is even a his and her's shooter version for whipped cream cocktails. Oh yeah. It's that serious.

His:  {M*** Diver}  Hers:  {B*** Job}  Stop blushing and just try them!

3/4 oz. Kahlua
Amaretto Whipped Cream

Combine the Bailey's Irish Cream and Kahlua {layered} in a chilled shot glass.  Top off with amaretto whipped cream.  Place the drink on the chair between a mans legs. Typically, this is a no-hands drink. You get the idea.

Spiced Vanilla Whipped Cream
Sugar or Salt
Lime Wedge

Salt or sugar the rim of a margarita glass. Pour chilled Jose Cuervo Gold into glass. Top off with spiced vanilla whipped cream. Garnish with lime wedge. Have a lady hold the glass between her knees. Yes. This is also a no-hands drink.

Not to be outdone... desserts are next in line for a little spark with any of the alcohol-infused whipped cream flavors.  Cakes, pies, icecream, anything you can think of can handle the whip!

Or my personal favorite... straight from the can! Bon Apetit!
